Our design team was commissioned to increase the visibility of Middlesex University's Hendon campus in the local area, and support the movements of staff, students and visitors within the campus itself.
We worked with the University and key external stakeholders of Transport for London and Barnet Borough Council to ensure strategic measures were put in place to allow visitors to locate and reach the campus with ease from local gateways.
We also worked closely with the university Estates Department to inform the development of a campus-wide wayfinding strategy for external and internal signage. We supported the University to appoint a sign manufacturer and provided assistance throughout the construction and installation phases.
The outcome was a new internal and external signage system installed across the campus and a comprehensive wayfinding manual.
